i'm terrible at essays too, mostly because they don't give us choices on what to write about.
essays are all like, "this is what you're writing about, this is what we want in it, and this is what you need to do in order to get a good grade ecks dee"
i'm best at writing when it's my own imagination, something i actually want to write about.
